One form of exercise a day?
Make it count!
Hoping you are all bearing up and you and your loved ones are keeping well (and sane!) in these trying times.
EW&S are so very lucky to be able to access open, beautiful, restorative space from our doorstep, but alongside our village dog walks we are also so used to heading further afield to explore and stimulate, so even our lovely village walk is becoming a bit, well, boring?
We anticipate this may be the case for you too? So we wanted to share our recent addition to enhance that ‘same ol’ walk’ …. a forage!
With kids in tow it’s important to keep things interesting, and a forage certainly helped, there is teeny chance I may have enjoyed it more than them, but hey!
Foraging encouraged us to look in a lot more detail at our surroundings, noticing things we’d not seen on our many, many previous walks up the same track.
Now more than ever, daily exercise, self care, fresh air and mindful activity is essential, as is wine right? But its all about balance, we will share any tips we have to help you through…
We’re in this together
Here’s a positive ‘take’ we came across… here’s hoping
I heard a little rumour
I know now it is true
That the world is going to be at peace
For at least a month or two
I heard that folk must stay at home
And spend time with their kin
Slow down, relax and take a breath
And fine some peace within
And though we may be worried
About money, jobs and bills
We will notice beauty everywhere
Blue skies, fresh lakes, green hills
And when a month or two is over
And we can all go back to our lives
People will show gratitude
That their loved ones all survived
