Boggle Hole to Berties

So…. celebrating a special anniversary at the weekend, Earth, Wit & Style were set to enjoy 24 hours sans children.  Robin Hoods Bay was the destination of choice, looking to enjoy a circular walk from the bay beyond Boggle Hole along the beach (which would have been fine for the children) then ascending steep steps to the cliff top (which would have been spoilt by the children as it required physical effort!)

Similar steps needed to be tackled again down, then up at Boggle Hole to rejoin the cliff top, well worth it, and definitely a walk to do!

Whilst heading back up the steep road from Robin Hoods Bay to the car park we were excited to spot BERTIES , a beautifully converted, obviously independent, stylish retail space.  Adorning ‘Happiness, Home and Heritage’ on the window, we obviously had to explore…

The first thing that hits you is the beautiful smell, Berties make all their own Vegan candles, each smell depicting a story, from the owner’s experiences, the relevant tale detailed on the back of the candle, it’s quite unique!

Also on offer … a plethora of homewares, furnishings, gifts and treats

If you can’t afford yourself the time for a trip to Robin Hoods Bay, or our gorgeous British Summer is less favourable when you do have a slot, just have a shop on line!
