If , like us , you haven’t got the time to pace the High Street …or the ‘know how’ to spot the best hat to suit , then you must pay the wonderful Samantha Abbey a visit at her first floor millinery boutique in pretty, rural, yet convenient, Long Marston! There is parking at the door, and a fabulous ever changing range of designer hats, headpieces, fascinators, all to HIRE or BUY and accessories, such as shoes, bags jewellery and pashminas.   

The vast majority of Get Ahead Hats are hand-made here in the UK embracing traditional millinery skills, using an extensive colour palette mostly in sinamay with embellishments of feathers, beading and silks sourced from around the world. Each completed hat or headpiece celebrates British craftsmanship of outstanding quality. All hats that are in stock can be hired or purchased starting from £45.

However specific our request, we have never left empty handed, often with a hat we wouldn’t have even tried on without an experienced eye to help!

With a wealth of experience in helping you find the right hat or perfect percher to compliment your outfit, relax with Sam as you try different styles from her stunning and extensive range, or have something individually tailored to your exact requirements. From the most discreet, to an Ascot show-stopper there really is something for every taste and budget.  

With an option to hire, your choice is opened up to beautiful hats, handcrafted by Milliners, with reassuringly expensive price tags if you were to purchase…
