Jumpsuits, boiler suits whatever you want to call them they are are definitely not going away. They were huge in the 70s but once we all realised we couldn’t rock that look like Blondie or Farrah Fawcett we moved on. Being aged seven that was probably always going to be a challenge.
They slipped back into our conscience as an evening alternative to a dress and have gradually entered our day to day wardrobe with most high street shops offering an up to date version. Many a fashion conscious celebrity can be seen out and about with them dressed up or down.
Great at this time of year with a leather jacket and your skater/stan smith/converse trainers but also indispensable in the summer months as a cooler, edgier alternative to the maxi dress ( and with less thigh sticking) Jumpsuits are tremendously forgiving if worn correctly, not Elvis tight, and are great for those days when you just need to hide a multitude of previous night sins.
Here is our pick of the best current offering.
