So, we’ve heard a secret, and it’s about Artisan Bread, so on the grounds of public interest, we’re sharing it!
They work on small batch, high quality baking, producing a delicious selection of Sourdoughs, focaccias with rosemary, red onion, sea salt and tomato, cheesy bread, and other varieties using seeds, oat, honey and olives.
Also, every week you’ll find ‘secret breads’ giving you the chance to taste different types of bread, if you love it they’ll make it into a regular. Keep your eye on their facebook page for the Secret Bread of the Week.
Their bread obviously includes no nasty preservatives and is meant to be eaten fresh, it’s lovely on the day of purchase and the day after – then it’s great for toast. BUT it also freezes really well, and we all know how handy it is to have some in!
At the new permanent premises you can enjoy a breakfast of barista coffee and pastries or lunch, as there are homemade soups and sandwiches available too.
And that’s not all! If you’re interested in learning how to make delicious homemade bread, or are looking for a unique gift for someone, you can spend a day with Liz from The Secret Bakery, learning all her tricks of the trade!
The one day bread making workshops start at 9.15am and run until around 4.15pm. Lunch is included and the attendee will learn to make:
