How to use Wallpaper in your interiors now:
Hands up who’s a little bit scared of using wall paper in their interiors? Sometimes it feels a huge leap to put down the Little Greene colour chart and jump into unknown interiors territory. However I’ve included a few ideas to inspire you and give you a snapshot of some of the ways you can use Wallpaper to update your existing schemes. We’ve used examples from the wonderfully quirky Cole and Son to give you some ideas that are easily translatable into our own homes.
Wallpaper can add instant drama to a scheme and one of the easiest ways to dip your toe in and try, is to wallpaper the downstairs cloakroom…it’s a room you can have a bit of fun in and not take too seriously. The most successful schemes for the “smallest room” are the ones that are a little outlandish and dramatic. It’s definitely a space that can take a bold scheme.
Not feeling the love for a daring scheme? A more understated elegant scheme can also work really well….
Another way to give Wallpaper a go is to add a panel. This works really well in a bedroom behind a headboard and is a more stylish version of a feature wall……..
If however you would like to do something more daring why not try Wallpapering a ceiling, trust us it looks amazing.
We hope we’ve managed to inspire you a little, There really is a wallpaper for everyone, Contemporary or classic, Country or chic…All feautured wallpapers are by available at Furnish and Fettle call in to find a style that suits you.
